For the United States Grand Prix in Austin, the Williams F1 team will be sporting a special new incredible Austin GP livery. This is the third team after Red Bull and Haas to be displaying American colors on its cars.

For their home race at Silverstone which also coincided with their 800th grand prix, Williams added a Union Jack onto their engine cover. Lately, coming off the back of the special Gulf livery the team ran in Singapore, Japan, and Qatar to celebrate their Gulf partnership, the American livery is another appealing change to the car's paint job.

The majority of the visual changes occur on the engine cover of the FW45 which sports a huge American flag. But there's more to it than meets the eye. The details on the striking white numbers are quite prominent with a red and blue border to them. Not to forget a big addition to the rear of the car's spoiler that is covered with NFTs from sponsor Kraken.

From the looks of it, Williams is taking advantage of their Floridian rookie driver Logan Sargeant who is the latest American driver on the Formula 1 grid since 2015. The team also teased its livery by placing the engine cover in the Circuit of the Americas pitlane.

Revealing the livery, the team said:

"Williams Racing is excited to reveal its special livery for the United States Grand Prix, celebrating the team’s strong U.S. connections and the support of both new and existing partners. The livery features the U.S. Stars and Stripes flag on the engine cover."
