F1 World Goes Mad Over Valtteri Bottas' Revealing Instagram Post - "Cracking Shot!"

F1 fans have gone crazy over Valtteri Bottas' latest social media post.

F1 fans have gone crazy over Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas' latest Instagram post. 

The Finnish driver posted an update to his fans during the week-long F1 break between the Canadian and Austrian Grand Prix races. The photo shows the former Mercedes driver walking into a lake completely nude in Finland, with the caption:

"Happy midsummer"

Fans and other teams took the opportunity to leave hilarious comments. Mercedes, who Bottas drove for between 2017 and 2021, were quick to get in with a pun. They wrote:

"Cracking shot, VB."

One fan wrote, joking that their Mum might see the post. They commented:

"Valtteri please stop my mom uses this app"

Referring to the iconic F1 champion Kimi Raikonnen who was branded 'The Iceman', another fan commented:

"Finland gave F1 two legendary individuals : The Iceman and The Assman"

Bottas is no stranger to these types of social media posts. The driver famously gifted seven-time champion and former Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton a framed photo of him face down in a lake. He also auctioned some signed versions off for charity. 

Another fan commented:

"Lewis be waiting for that frame. Typical Valtteri"

Bottas joined the Alfa Romeo team in 2022 after his five season stint with Mercedes. The driver is currently running in fifteenth position in the drivers' championship with 5 points. Whilst the Swiss-based team is in seventh in the constructors' championship at the moment with 9 points.

The next important F1 date is Friday 30 June - Sunday 2nd July for the Austrian Grand Prix.
