Lewis Hamilton Bids Emotional Farewell To His Physiotherapist And Confidante Angela Cullen

Lewis Hamilton has bid an emotional farewell to his long-term physiotherapist Angela Cullen, who has often been seen by the seven-time champion's side throughout the last seven years.
Taking to social media, the British driver explained that Cullen pushed him to be the "best version" of himself over the years as well as a "stronger athlete and a better person". He wrote along with some photos of their time working together:
"For the last seven years @cullen_angela has been by my side, pushing me to be the best version of myself. I am a stronger athlete and a better person because of her. So today I hope you’ll join me in wishing her the very best as she takes her next steps to pursue her dreams. Thank you for everything Ang, I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you"
While it may seem like a minor change, the departure of a key member of a sports team can have a huge impact on performance. After all, it's not just about physical strength and endurance - mental fortitude and emotional support are just as important when it comes to achieving greatness.
During the lead up to the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, all-eyes are on the Mercedes team to see if they are able to make any improvements from Bahrain. The overall expectation for the weekend is that the field will be much closer together, so we are ready for an exciting race on Sunday.
