Nyck de Vries is out of qualifying at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix after colliding with the tyre wall at Turn 3.

From what we have seen so far it looks as though the Dutch driver went into the turn too quickly. With approximately ten minutes to go of Q1, the other teams will be hoping that marshals are able to get the AlphaTauri off of the track swiftly so they can continue with the session. 

Currently sitting in the elimination zone are Esteban Ocon, Yuki Tsunoda, Pierre Gasly, Carlos Sainz, and obviously Nyck de Vries. So, hopefully they will be able to get back out on track to get some more times under their belts.
