Ferrari fans have pointed out a statistic which only Fernando Alonso and Charles Leclerc have achieved since F1 icon, Michael Schumacher, left the sport.

Taking to Twitter, @FanaticsFerrari, shared that the Spanish and Monegasque driver's have been the only ones to achieve a grand slam, which is pole position, fastest lap, win, and lead every lap of the race, with the Ferrari team since Schumacher. They posted:

"Since Michael Schumacher, only two Ferrari drivers have achieved a grand slam (pole, win, fastest lap and led every lap): - Fernando Alonso (Singapore 2010) - Charles Leclerc (Australia 2022)

"Charles is in elite company."

Leclerc has had a difficult time with the Maranello-based squad recently. He started off strong in 2022 which many considering him as a top contender for the championship win, however, things took a turn in the second half of the season with countless strategical errors, driver mistakes, and reliability issues.

In contrast, 2023 has been a pretty disastrous start for him with only 6 points to his name at the moment. He was forced to retire from the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix with power unit issues, then suffered a ten-place grid penalty for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, and again retired from the Australian GP in the first lap.

Despite this, many are of the opinion that he is ready to fight for championships, he just needs the car to go along with that.

Fans still remain hopeful for the team with many of the teams using this unplanned April break to bring upgrades to the cars for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on 28-30 April.

One fan commented on the statistic, writing that Alonso and Leclerc are the best two Ferrari drivers since Schumacher:

"Undoubtedly, the two best Ferrari drivers since Schumacher."
