Photo of Michael Schumacher on Sons Birthday Goes Viral As Fans Sob

Mick Schumacher celebrated his 24th birthday earlier this week and fans were left in pieces as an old photo of Michael Schumacher and Mick resurfaced.
Taking to social media, a fan page for the F1 icon wrote:
"Dad is always by your side. Happy Birthday Mick"

Michael Schumacher suffered severe brain injuries after a skiing accident nine years ago. The driver has not been seen since and is said to be continuing his recovery at their family home in Switzerland.
The family have kept extremely private since the accident providing limited updates and being very selective over who can visit Schumacher.
Fans shared their emotional comments over the touching photo. One commented:

Mick parted ways with the Haas F1 team at the end of the 2022 season when they did not extend his contract. The German driver has now signed with Mercedes as their reserve driver for 2023 in the hopes to get back to a full-time seat in the 2024 season.
