The Miami Grand Prix is loud and alive with echoes of last year's race. Fans weren't overly complimentary of the new track, but one significant change this year has got Max Verstappen questioning how this year will be different.

It's a 14-hour flight from Azerbaijan to Miami, so with plenty of time to look forward to the scorching heat of the Miami track, he discussed what to expect this coming weekend in a press release.

"I’m looking forward to Miami, it was a very physical track and also really hot there last year, so we need to be prepared for that," he said.

Between last year and now, the track has been resurfaced after drivers complained of having next to no grip off the racing line. While the chicane remains, there's plenty to like about this street race.

"It’s definitely not going to be easy. It’s quite a complex circuit and I think they resurfaced the track again this year so let’s see how that impacts our performance," he said.

We're also expecting an all-new livery from the Milton Keynes squad this weekend after fans were asked to design it in a competition. The winning design is yet to be chosen, but the Dutch driver is looking forward to having a car that looks different to, well, all of the Red Bulls so far.

"Our fans also designed the livery this weekend, so I'm excited to see what that looks like!"
