Spanish GP Results: Max Verstappen Takes Pole Position In Qualifying

Max Verstappen has taken pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix tomorrow.
Following the Dutch driver on the grid tomorrow will be Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris who will be starting from second and third, respectively.
The session started like a slip-and-slide with multiple cars spinning off onto the gravel, including Nyck de Vries, Logan Sargeant, Fernando Alonso, Valtteri Bottas, and Alex Albon. A red flag was soon put on the session, presumably due to gravel on the track and the general conditions.
Oscar Piastri put in a great lap during Q1 putting him in provisional second position, although it was his McLaren teammate Lando Norris who managed the second fastest time by the end of Q1. Lewis Hamilton put in the fastest time in Q1 with George Russell putting in the third, raising the hopes of Mercedes fans.
