Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Dollar Tree 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, which was originally slated for a 3 PM ET start time, will start a little earlier than scheduled, due to forecasted inclement weather in the area.

On Friday, NASCAR announced that the start time for the event will now be bumped up to 2 PM ET. According to the press release from NASCAR, the decision was a joint-effort between the sanctioning body, the 1.058-mile NHMS race track, and USA Network, and the bumping up of the start time was done to give fans best chance to watch the full 301-lap race distance before forecasted weather reaches the area.

The race will remain televised on USA Network, and the Performance Racing Network (PRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will still carry the radio broadcasts of the event.

For fans heading to New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the track has issued updated opening times for gates, parking lots, and ticket booths ahead of Sunday's race.

Parking lots around "The Magic Mile" will now open at 7 AM ET on Sunday morning, while ticket booths will open at 8:30 AM ET, and gates to enter the grandstands and infield of the track will open at 10 AM ET. The NASCAR Cup Series garage will open at 11 AM ET.

Ryan Blaney, who has a pair of wins in the NASCAR Cup Series this season and is runner-up in the championship standings heading into this weekend, is the defending winner of this race. Blaney made a late-race pass on Josh Berry for the win.
