Real Oviedo vs Real Madrid: Predicted Lineup for La Liga Clash

Real Madrid are back in La Liga action, as they take on Real Oviedo in the first away game of the season. They will be heavy favorites to win against the newly promoted side who lost their opener 2-0 to Villareal.
Xabi Alonso started three of his new signings in the game against Osausna, all of them in a back four. They all played well, but did not have much to deal with for most of the game, as the away team defended deep for the majority of the game.

It wasn't a fluent performance from Los Blancos, and Alonso will surely be thinking about some changes. With it being just the second game of the season, he may leave it as it is. Here is the lineup that could face Oviedo on August 24.
Real Madrid Predicted Lineup vs. Real Oviedo (4-3-3)

GK: Thibault Courtois - There will be no change in goal, as Courtois continues in goal and will look to have another clean sheet.
RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold - Dani Carvajal looked strong when he came on, but after one game, I don't think Alonso is putting him in front of Trent just yet.
CB: Eder Militao - Militao is still working his way back to full match fitness and was a huge miss last season. Could play in a three if Alonso chooses to change the system.
CB: Dean Huijsen - Huijsen's debut in La Liga started with a clean sheet, and was very impressive, bringing the ball out from the back.
LB: Álvaro Carreras - The most impressive player in the back four. Carreras has a top engine which helps him get up and win the left consistently throughout the game.
CM: Fede Valverde - The Uruguayan was made captain, and despite having a quiet game, was still crucial in stopping counterattacks.
CM: Aurélien Tchouaméni - The powerful Frenchman has been excellent under Xabi Alonso, and his midfield role is crucial to the team's performance.
CM: Arda Guler - Guler is seen as the creator, and we saw a little of what he can bring against Osasuna. It will take him a few games to get fully into the groove in his new role.
RW: Brahim Diaz - Diaz beat Rodrygo and Franco Mastantuono to start the game, and any one of them could face Real Oviedo, and likely the only big decision for Alonso if he sticks with a 4-4-2 formation.
LW: Vinicius Jr. - The fans are still waiting for Vini Jr. to find his best form, and with the contract issues, they are getting restless.
ST: Kylian Mbappé - The holder of the European Golden Boot got his campaign underway with a goal, and looked very bright. Mbappe arguably should have had more than one.
