Every week until a champion is crowned, the YouTube show "Six Rotations" will be available here, with a brief rundown of the episode and the top upcoming matches around the country.

Making Moves into October

We have entered the penultimate month of the regular season, and October brings an added sense of urgency to determine who the contenders are, especially in the era of Power-4 conference tournaments in the SEC and Big Ten.

Last week saw Nebraska sweep Penn State, Washington sweep Purdue, and BYU sweep Kansas, but the team that won the week was Florida.

The Gators are off to their best start since 2017 and have jumped into the top five in just the second season of Ryan Theis' oversight. Florida swept Tennessee, then finished the weekend with a home, primetime, comeback five-set victory on Sunday night vs. then-No. 3 Kentucky on ESPN.

The Week Ahead

Spooky season brings with it a flurry of treats for volleyball fans around the nation. It culminates Sunday with five ranked vs. ranked matches on national TV, but the primetime match sits on Saturday night in Lincoln on FOX at 7 p.m. ET with No. 7 Wisconsin and No. 1 Nebraska. The action kicks off Wednesday with No. 1 Nebraska in Bloomington, Ind., at the No. 15 Hoosiers on Big Ten Network at 6:30 p.m. ET.

A pair of top-10 matches ahead for No. 2 Pittsburgh with a home-and-home against No. 6 SMU on Wednesday and Sunday (3 PM ET on ESPN). That Sunday ESPN telecast follows another big ACC showdown with No. 14 Stanford at No. 3 Louisville at 1 p.m. ET.

Sunday also features an electric Big Ten slate with No. 20 Washington at No. 18 Penn State at noon ET on Big Ten Network, followed by USC-Indiana and newly ranked Illinois (No. 24) at No. 16 Purdue. We will also get to see No. 8 TCU tangle with No. 11 Arizona State on ESPN2 at 4 p.m. ET.

An appetizer to the weekend features a fun Friday with No. 14 Stanford at Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. ET on ACC Network, with myself on the call alongside Leah Edmond. Then No. 22 Michigan State vs. No. 13 Oregon at 7:30 p.m. ET on B1G+, followed by No. 11 Arizona State vs. No. 23 Colorado at 11 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

Next episode will be Monday, Oct. 12
