League One Volleyball Madison Reveals 2027 Roster

The squad features a mix of international experience, Olympians, and collegiate All-Americans, paired with homegrown Wisconsin talent.

In preparation for season three, League One Volleyball (LOVB) Madison has revealed its 2027 roster. The squad features a mix of international experience, Olympians, and collegiate All-Americans, paired with homegrown Wisconsin talent.

Lauren Carlini is aiming to make league history, as she’s off her second-straight year leading in assists. Mimi Colyer will enter her second season as a professional after being named Outside Hitter of the Year in 2026 while leading the Dallas Pulse to a Major League Volleyball (MLV) championship in their inaugural season. 

Ivonee Montaño also makes her way to Madison after leading LOVB Atlanta in total points last season, while Meliha Diken makes history as the first Turkish player in LOVB. 

Meet Head Coach Fernando Morales

Morales joins LOVB Madison after serving as an assistant coach for LOVB Nebraska in 2026. His resume is packed with international and collegiate successes, and he will now look to boost a team that landed in last place in 2026. 

“I am really excited to be a part of a great volleyball community like Madison,”  Morales said in a press release, “Madison fans support their sports in a unique way and women’s volleyball is one of the town’s favorites. I can’t wait to be there, see it, and live it.” 

Morales led the South Korean Women’s National Team in 2024, after guiding the Puerto Rican Women’s National Team to several medals, including at the 2021 NORCECA Championship and both the Pan American Cup and Central American and Caribbean Games in 2023, in addition to a 2022 FIVB Challenger Cup bronze. 

At the collegiate level, he completely turned the University of Evansville program around, as he guided the team to its first 20-win season in three decades and a spot in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship in 2021.

Four expansion teams (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, and Minnesota) will join LOVB in 2027, alongside the existing six teams, in an effort to introduce an Eastern and Western Conference format.
