LA28 Olympics Volleyball Ticket Guide: Prices, Dates, Availability

Tickets have gone on sale through the LA28 Ticket Drop 2.

Volleyball tickets for the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games have gone on sale to the general public through the LA28 Ticket Drop 2. Here’s everything we’ve learned. 

Held at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., both women’s and men’s indoor volleyball range anywhere from $28 to $210 for preliminary rounds. Quarterfinal and semifinal matchups are anywhere from $68 to $260. 

While the gold medal matches for both women and men are unavailable, the women’s bronze medal match is set at $291.47, while the men's is listed at $104.19.

As for beach volleyball at Alamitos Beach Stadium, some tickets are listed in pairs for both men’s and women’s competitions, meaning the prices are a little deeper. Preliminary rounds begin at $28-582.94, while the quarterfinals have already sold out. The Mixed Round of 16 is listed from $297.67 to $558.14.

Medal games are currently not listed for beach volleyball.

LA28 Ticket Drop Explained 

Fans in qualifying Southern California and Oklahoma counties had early access through the L.A. and O.K.C. Locals Presale from April 2-6, while Ticket Drop 1 went on sale to the rest of the public shortly after. 

Now, fans who registered for Drop 2 by July 22, and didn’t exceed the 12-ticket maximum during Drop 1 are eligible to buy. Random dates and times to purchase were then assigned to the public. Tickets across all sports were supposed to start at $28 and are expected to reach the thousands. 

Don’t lose all hope yet, though. According to the LA28 Ticketing Team, more drops are scheduled for the coming months into 2027, which means more tickets may become available. 

The LA28 Ticketing Team previously announced that fans can list their tickets for resale, beginning in 2027.  

LA28 Volleyball Schedules 

The Olympic competition will begin early on Wednesday, July 12, 2028, but both indoor and beach volleyball won’t start until July 15. Luckily for volleyball fans, there’s a matchup every day until the closing ceremonies on Sunday, July 30. 

The bronze medal games for indoor is set for July 29, followed by the gold medal game on July 30. Beach volleyball’s bronze medal games are set for July 28, and gold medals on July 29. 

The Opening Ceremony will take place on Friday, July 14, at 8 p.m. ET between the LA Memorial Coliseum and the 2028 Stadium in Inglewood.
