Angel Reese Gifted Young Fan Shoes at WNBA All-Star Game

Chicago Sky rookie is an All-Star on the floor in the WNBA and a star off it. Reese had an awesome All-Star debut, putting up one of her trademark double-doubles in leading the entire contest in rebounds. One that resulted in a win over Team USA. She finished the game with 12 points and 11 boards in just 18 minutes of action. But it was her aura that was also on display over the weekend, including a nice moment with a young fan following the contest.

Reese walked by a girl holding a sign adorned with Reese's Pieces that read, "Angel I'll trade u all these 4 your shoes". Well, the message worked as Angel took her kicks right off and gave them to the young lady, without even taking the candy back in return.

Angel's shoe game has been on point all season, but so has everything about her rookie campaign. Reese turned heads during NBA Summer League appearances and of course has produced on the floor, setting the league record for most consecutive double-doubles in a season. She also became the first rookie to register one in the All-Star Game itself.

Barbie has been an absolute monster on the glass all season, leading the league in the rebounding category. But her ability to gather up missed shots has been matched by her popularity. Because the fan who wound up with her shoes following the All-Star festivities is just one of many who want a piece of Reese.
