Angel Reese Repays Alyssa Thomas Choke Slam With Iconic Taunt

The WNBA community was turned upside down during the Chicago Sky's game against the Connecticut Sun on May 25, 2024.
At one point in that game, Sky rookie sensation Angel Reese was going up for a rebound when Sun star Alyssa Thomas wrapped her arm around Reese's neck and yanked her downwards so that Reese suffered a scary fall on her head and back.

Thomas received a Flagrant 2 for the unnecessary hostile foul and was ejected from the game as a result.
However, that punishment didn't stop Reese's fanbase from blasting Thomas over social media for choke-slamming the "Chi Barbie" for multiple days afterward.
Reese mostly kept quiet after the incident. Then the Sky and Sun faced each other again on Friday. And one moment during the game made it seem like Reese never forgot about what Thomas did to her nearly three months ago.
Thomas was guarding Reese at one point in the third quarter of Friday's game. Reese went up for a layup, missed, grabbed her own rebound, and then made the put-back.
As she was getting back on defense, Reese looked at Thomas and made the 'Too Small' taunt gesture.

Fans on social media were loving that Reese paid Thomas back with this hilarious taunt.
Unfortunately, the game didn't end well Sky fans. Despite Reese finishing the game with 13 points and a whopping 20 rebounds, Chicago was defeated by Connecticut 82-80 and are now 1-3 since the WNBA's Olympics break came to a close earlier this month.
Reese and the Sky will look to rebound against a struggling Las Vegas Aces squad on Sunday.
