Caitlin Clark Is Making Hater Proof WNBA History

"Great is great, no matter where you play". That is what was said about Caitlin Clark during the Connecticut Sun and Dallas Wings broadcast on Ion that aired following the Indiana Fever's win over the Phoenix Mercury.
Which was followed up by color analyst Fran Harris remarking, "Now we're getting ready to see something I don't think we've ever seen in our game."

Both statements are correct of course. Only a truly committed hater would attempt to deny Clark's game at this juncture. While Caitlin is already doing things the W has never seen before, with more inevitably on the way.
Clark's 29 points and 10 assists against the Mercury gave her a total of 53 points and 29 assists in her last two professional contests, numbers that have never been reached before in league history, as pointed out by StatMamba. This as CC also recorded her second 25 point and 10 assist game as a rookie, something the rest of all first-year players in W history combined had only done once.

Clark looked refreshed following the break she got over the Olympics, which is a bad sign for the rest of the WNBA. Her trademark deep shooting and playmaking were both on display, and so was her unique ability to push the pace. To the point where she admittedly tired herself out early in the contest.

Denying Clark's basketball abilities has become akin to trying to keep up with her on the court. A tiring exercise in itself. Because with each passing game of her still young professional career, an age old hoops phrase comes to mind. Ball don't lie.
