Apple’s second-generation AirPods Pro didn’t change much with the physical design, but they offer better sound quality and noise cancelation, and set an entirely new bar for a transparency mode.

And Amazon just dropped the price on Apple’s brand new earbuds to their lowest price ever—a full 10% off at just $223.24. Excellent, epic and terrific are all applicable exclamations, but the best way to describe these are perfect true wireless earbuds for an iPhone user.

Apple AirPods Pro Second-Generation ($223.24, originally $249 at Amazon)

So what makes AirPods Pro worth the investment? For starters, they are powered by Apple’s new H2 Chip which has over a billion transistors on board. This gives them plenty of power to mix the audio to fit your ears, as well as handle the listening modes.

Active noise cancelation (ANC) is even better at blocking out louder sounds, but also more skilled with higher-frequency tones. Transparency mode is now adaptive and will lower the sound of outside noise being let in if it’s over 85-decibels. Basically, the sound shouldn't negatively hurt your hearing.

The charging case is still the same compact size, but now has a spot for a lanyard and a speaker built-in. This way you can ping the earbuds as well as the case via FindMy if you ever misplace them. And you can charge the case via a Lightning cable, MagSafe charger, standard wireless charger, or with an Apple Watch Charger. And you can expect at least six hours of playback on a full charge.

As you’d expect from AirPods, the new Pros work seamlessly with other Apple devices. To pair, you’ll just flip open the case and hold them next to your iPhone and they’ll sync across your iCloud account. From there, you can quickly switch between your Apple devices for listening.

So whether you’re shopping for yourself, a loved one, or a friend, AirPods Pro should be high on your list. They’ll make a great gift, and if you’re shopping for yourself you deserve to treat yourself.
