Sunderland take on Middlesbrough in the Championship tomorrow afternoon, and Abdoullah Ba is expecting a tough test.

Sunderland host rivals Middlesbrough in tomorrow's early kick off tomorrow.

It's another tough outing for the Black Cats who currently sit in 4th place of the table having won five of their last six games in the Championship.

And speaking ahead of tomorrow, Ba gave an interview to Chronicle Live.

The Frenchman has been a key player over the past few weeks having now scored two goals in nine Championship outings for the club.

He started the last outing vs Watford and scored the second goals in a 2-0 win.

And the 20-year-old has set himself a goals target for this season, telling Chronicle Live:

"The gaffer has given me very good confidence and I'm very happy as a player and I'm happy to help the team.

"I hope to score more goals, maybe five, six, seven this year. I'd be very happy [with that]."

Whether or not Ba starts against Boro tomorrow remains to be seen.

He and Patrick Roberts have been sharing the starting spot with Tony Mowbray not afraid to rotate his attacking players, amid ongoing injuries in the attacking department.

Ba also gave his verdict on Middlesbrough, telling Chronicle Live:

"We have another game against Middlesbrough and I hope to get three points again and go into the international break and relax.

"It is going to be a tough test, every game is different and we just have to keep going and believing and work together."

Tomorrow's game kciks off at 12:30pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
