The Minnesota Lynx have been a WNBA powerhouse since Cheryl Reeve took over as head coach, and their 2025 campaign has been no different. Coming off a Finals loss, the Lynx have undoubtedly been the best team in the WNBA this season.

Of course, the Lynx have been led by superstar forward Napheesa Collier, but her supporting cast has been just as impressive. Kayla McBride and Courtney Williams have both helped offensively, while the entire team has helped them lead the WNBA in defensive rating en route to an impressive league-best 28-6 record.

The Lynx are the frontrunners to win the 2025 WNBA Finals, and their depth is a huge reason why.

Hiedeman, 28, is in her second season with the Lynx, averaging 8.0 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, while shooting a career-high 48.2% from the field. The tenacious guard has made her mark in Minnesota after spending the first six seasons of her career with the Connecticut Sun.

On Wednesday, Hiedeman received some of the best news of her career. Her alma mater, the Marquette Golden Eagles, honored her by inducting her into the M Club Hall of Fame, class of 2025.

The Lynx media team was able to catch Hiedeman's live reaction to the news on video, as the standout guard immediately turned to coach Reeve to hug her as she tried to control her emotions.

"Tell me I'm getting inducted into the Hall of Fame," Hiedeman said. "I love Marquette so much, I feel like that was just a big part of my journey and the reason I'm where I'm at. So just to be able to represent Marquette here in the W. Just super grateful and honored. Yeah, I'm just super excited, man. Dubs in the chat."

Hiedeman played four seasons at Marquette, highlighted by her senior year when she averaged 17.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game, winning Big East Player of the Year.

This is an incredible honor for any player, especially in a loaded M Club Hall of Fame. Hiedeman, most notably, joins NBA legend Dwyane Wade in the storied Hall of Fame, as she continues to make a name for herself.
