BREAKING: Tennessee lands 4-star offensive guard William Satterwhite

Clemson misses out on a commitment at a much needed position.

After a scorching hot month of June, the Tigers have started off July at a much slower pace. Four-star offensive guard William Satterwhite (Archbishop Hoban, OH) committed to Tennessee over Clemson on Friday afternoon. The 6-foot-3 Satterwhite announced the decision on Twitter.

Satterwhite plays offensive tackle in high school, but his frame - 6-foot-3, 300 pounds - likely projects a move to the interior at the P5 level. With a large amount of upperclassmen at that spot, the Vols needed to add some depth. This is another win for Tennessee over Clemson, following an Orange Bowl drubbing, the Vols landed Clemson transfer Billy Amick in baseball.
