Clemson adds another 4-star to their 2025 recruiting class

Clemson football stayed hot on the recruiting trail, landing 4-star Marquise Henderson, a 2,000-yard running back out of South Carolina.

As Clemson gets ready for Early Signing Day on December 20th, the Tigers are already getting out in front of the 2025 class. On Monday morning, running back Marquise Henderson (Belton-Honea Path, South Carolina) announced his commitment to Clemson.

"I'm home!" said Henderson in a post on X (formerly Twitter). The commitment comes just hours after Henderson announced an offer from Clemson. 

Rivals has Henderson ranked as a four-star and as the second-best player in South Carolina. 247 gives him three stars. As a junior, Henderson rushed for an astounding 2,336 yards on 207 carries, punching the ball into the endzone 37 times on the ground. He helped lead his Belton-Honea Path squad to a 13-0 start before falling in the playoffs a couple of weeks ago.

The addition of Marquise Henderson gives the Tigers seven commits in the 2025 class. They now rank 7th in . Henderson joins Gideon Davidson as the two running backs in the class.
