BREAKING: Florida State Lands Commitment From Five-Star Offensive Lineman

The Seminoles have landed a pledge from one of the top prospects in the 2025 class.

The final couple of days leading up to Christmas are proving to be busy on multiple fronts for Florida State. Whether it's the Early Signing Period, bowl game preparations, or the ongoing lawsuit against the ACC, there will be no shortage of news coming out of Tallahassee before the new year.

On Friday afternoon, 2025 five-star offensive tackle Solomon Thomas announced that he was committing to the Seminoles. One of the top prospects in the rising senior class, Thomas is now the highest-ranked commitment in #Tribe25. He chose Florida State over offers from programs such as Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, and Tennessee, among others.

Thomas is the top pledge along the offensive line that position coach and offensive coordinator Alex Atkins has landed during his tenure with the program. He was most recently on campus to watch Florida State take down Duke in October.

With his pledge, Thomas becomes the third member of Florida State's 2025 recruiting class, joining four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr. and three-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard. The haul ranks No. 16 in the country according to 247Sports.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound offensive lineman is regarded as the No. 18 overall prospect, the No. 1 IOL, and the No. 3 recruit in the state of Florida in the 2025 class according to 247Sports.
