WATCH LIVE: Three-Star DL D'Nas White Set To Announce Between Florida State, Miami, And Tennessee

Can the Seminoles cap off the Early Signing Period on a positive note?

One of Florida State's final remaining uncommitted prospects is closing in on announcing a decision on Wednesday evening. After a recruiting process where he's earned interest from some of the top schools in the country, three-star defensive lineman D'Nas White will choose between the Seminoles, Miami, and Tennessee during a signing ceremony at his high school

The Seminoles were one of the first programs to offer White a scholarship back in July of 2022. He was in Tallahassee for an official visit two weekends ago, the final trip of his high school recruitment. That marked the third time that he's been on campus this year.

It's been over six months since White visited a program other than Florida State. He stated that the Seminoles were firmly in his top two earlier in December due to his relationship with the coaching staff.

"I just like the atmosphere and the fans," White said to NoleGameday previously. "I have a good relationship with the coaches and they're real loyal."

White believes that he's a fit for how the Seminoles run things along the defensive line. The team needs reinforcements with players such as Fabien Lovett, Braden Fiske, Malcolm Ray, and Ayobami Tifase all moving on for various reasons.

"I feel like I fit in pretty good," White said. "I play like this so they just got to teach me a few things so yeah."

Florida State currently holds 21 signees and the No. 10 recruiting class in the country.

The 6-foot-4, 333-pound defensive lineman is regarded as the No. 683 overall prospect, the No. 74 DL, and the No. 22 recruit in the state of North Carolina in the 2024 class according to 247Sports.

As a senior, White recorded 45 tackles, nine tackles for loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and two pass deflections during his senior campaign. He participated in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.
