USC Football: Trojans Make Final Four List for Elite 2025 So-Cal Linebacker

One of the best prospects in the state is considering staying local for college

Highly coveted Junipero Serra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA) 2025 linebacker Madden Faraimo has whittled his list of over 20 division one offers down to just four schools he's now considering. According to Greg Biggins of 247 Sports, Faraimo will now be focusing his recruitment on USC, Oregon, Notre Dame, and Ohio State. During his first couple of years in high school, he played safety but has since moved down into the box at middle linebacker, where he will likely spend the rest of his career given his 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame.

Oregon has been able to recruit the So-Cal region probably better than anybody in the country over the last few seasons, including USC and UCLA. Notre Dame and Ohio State are consistently among the most formidable opponents to go up head-to-head against in a recruiting battle. It's pretty fair to assume that USC linebackers coach Matt Entz is going to be USC's best bet at landing Faraimo, so the relationship that those two build together is of the utmost importance here.

In Faraimo's highlights (embedded at the bottom of this article) you can see just how much bigger, stronger, and faster he looks than most of the other players. 247 Sports considers Faraimo a four-star prospect, the 76th-best recruit in the country in the class of 2025, the 11th-best linebacker in 2025, and the 7th-best prospect coming out of California this cycle.

Faraimo told 247 Sports that while he does have an interest still in visiting schools that aren't in his 'top-four', "those are my top four and the schools I’m moving forward with right now."
