USC Women's Beach Volleyball: Trojans Wallop Cal Poly, Grand Canyon In 4-0 Weekend

A solid outing for the Women of Troy.

Your No. 3 USC Trojans women's beach volleyball team improved to an 8-2 record over this past weekend, thanks to a 3-2 victory over the nation's then-18th-ranked Cal Poly and a 5-0 obliteration of the then-14th-ranked Grand Canyon this past Saturday, during the Battle for Los Angeles on USC's home turf, Merle Norman Stadium, per USC Athletics.

USC is now 87-11 at Merle Norman Stadium all-time, an impressive mark, and has won 22 straight victories at home (a streak that began near the conclusion of the 2022 season).

The Trojans will next square off against the Utah Utes at 11 a.m. PT, followed by the currently-No. 14-ranked Washington Huskies at 7 p.m. PT this coming Saturday, March9th, at the Pac-12 South Invitational. Pac-12 Washington will air the two matches. On Sunday, the 10th, USC will clash with the Arizona Wildcats at 12 p.m., followed by the Oregon Ducks at 2 p.m. PT. These two bouts will be broadcast on Pac-12 Arizona.

In the midst of its fourth season under head coach Brad Keller, the program is hoping to return to the NCAA Tournament following one year on the outside looking in. USC appears well on its way to achieving that goal thus far.
