Ben Stiller is a Big Fan of Deuce McBride

The famous actor loves what he sees from the former Mountaineer guard.

Miles McBride went off Monday night against the Golden State Warriors, pouring in 29 points on a night where he was red-hot from deep, connecting on 6-of-9 attempts from three-point land.

The former Mountaineer received a ton of praise from head coach Tom Thibodeau following the game for not only his offensive output, but the job he did defending Steph Curry.

The 29-point outburst and defensive effort on arguably the best shooter of all-time also caught the attention of famous actor and known New York Knicks fan, Ben Stiller.

Since the trade deadline, McBride has seen more playing time and become more than just a part of the Knicks rotation. In eight games this month, he's averaging 11.1 points, 2.6 assists, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.8 steals per game.

"We thought the shooting would come around. We knew he was a gym rat. We liked the program that he was coming out of. I think that was important," head coach Tom Thibodeau said. "His toughness, his competitiveness, his drive, his ability to think on his feet - those were the characteristics that we valued and liked. Once we got him and saw how he worked and how he is as a teammate, we knew he'd be a great fit and he'll continue to get better."
