Best Game Yet? McBride Has Massive Night vs. Steph Curry & the Warriors

The Knicks get a huge night from the former Mountaineer.

Miles McBride continues to impress in the NBA and last night, he had the game of his life in the New York Knicks' 119-112 win over the Golden State Warriors.

The former Mountaineer finished the night with a career-high 29 points on 9/13 shooting (6/9 3FG) to go along with two assists, one rebound, and one steal.

"We track all the shots and last year (Deuce's) efficiency in practice was really high and I don't know if there's anyone on the team who shoots more than he does, maybe Jalen (Brunson)," said Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau. "You could see how efficiently he was shooting the ball in practice and usually that's a sign that over time that'll transfer over to the games. And in fairness to him, he was never really in the rotation. Sometimes he would be in and then he'd be out and it's not easy to handle that. But he never complained, always ready. He's a two-way player and the shooting is just huge."

McBride was not only on his 'A' game offensively, but he did a tremendous job of chasing Steph Curry around and making him really work for his shots. Curry finished 8/20 from the field and 4/13 from beyond the arc. Thibodeau loved McBride's energy on the defensive end of the floor, especially having to do it against someone of Curry's caliber.

"I think the challenge with Curry is you have to guard him off the dribble initially and then it turns into catch and shoot. So you have to have the discipline to stay attached to him once he gives the ball up because that's when he becomes real dangerous and you can never let your guard down with him. It's not an easy task. (Deuce) chased him all night. He never stops moving, he's in phenomenal shape, and I thought Deuce did a terrific job."
