Giants Release Former WVU OL Mark Glowinski

The veteran o-lineman is on the move again.

Former West Virginia offensive lineman Mark Glowinski will be searching for a new home in the NFL this offseason as he was informed Monday that he was being released by the New York Giants, saving the team $5.7 million in cap space.

Glowinski inked a three-year deal with the Giants back in 2022 and started all 16 games he appeared in during his first year in the organization. This past season, he was replaced as the starter after the team was blanked by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1, but did end up starting six games on the year.

He was selected in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks where he spent the first three years of his career. He then played four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts before moving on with the Giants.

Glowinski has played in 124 career games, making 96 starts.
