DE Jayden Loftin Locks In Official Visit to WVU

Another visitor coming to Morgantown this summer.

The official visit list is growing by the day for West Virginia. Class of 2025 defensive end Jayden Loftin (6'4", 235 lbs) of Somerville, New Jersey is planning to make his way to campus on May 31st and will exit town June 2nd.

"I went to the Oklahoma State game last season and I enjoyed my game day visit mostly because of how involved the fans are in the game. The chants were dope and it felt like somewhere I would wanna play."

Loftin tells Mountaineers Now that he is also planning to take official visits to Minnesota and Tennessee. Those are the three that have stuck out the most at this point in time, but he made it clear that he is "keeping all options open."

Loftin likes a lot of what West Virginia has to offer, but is looking forward to developing his relationship with lead recruiter Victor Cabral, who just recently arrived from Appalachian State.

In addition to Minnesota and Tennessee, Loftin holds offers from Boston College, Georgia Tech, Liberty, Marshall, Penn State, Pitt, South Carolina, Syracuse, Temple, UConn, UMass, and a few others.
