Badgers Face Illini In Search Of First Big Ten Win: How To Watch

The Wisconsin women's basketball team will face Illinois trying to snap a three-game league losing streak.

The Wisconsin Badgers will seek to win their first Big Ten game of the 2023-24 season when they travel to Champaign, Ill., to face Illinois on Sunday.

The Badgers have lost four of their last six games going into the contest, while Illinois is coming off a week-long break after losing to Indiana on New Year’s Eve.

About Illinois: The Illini have had a week to chew on that loss to Indiana and, like the Badgers, they’re hoping to claim their first league win on Sunday. Outside Illinois leans on Bryant, who leads the team with 14.9 points and 42 assists, while Cook has averaged 13.8 points in nine games this season. Inside Bostic has averaged 12.8 points and 8.9 rebounds. McKenzie also scores in double figures, with 10.3 points per game.

About Wisconsin: Getting Williams back helped the Badgers, who were in a two-point game with Nebraska on Thursday before the Huskers pulled away in the final quarter. Williams is ninth in the Big Ten averaging 16.1 points, second with 9.0 rebounds and first with 2.9 blocked shots. Porter leads the Big Ten in minutes played at nearly 35 per game, is 10th in rebounding at 7.1 per game and leads the conference with 2.8 steals per game. Natalie Leuzinger has hit double digits in each of her last three games, two off the bench.
