LaMelo Ball's Official Injury Status For Suns-Hornets Game

LaMelo Ball is on the injury report for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Charlotte Hornets will host the Phoenix Suns in North Carolina. 

For the game, the Hornets will remain without their best player, as 2022 NBA All-Star LaMelo Ball has been ruled out.  

Ball has missed each of the previous 23 games, so this will be his 24th straight out of the lineup.

Ball has only played in 22 games and is averaging 23.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.8 steals per contest while shooting 43.3% from the field and 35.5% from the three-point range. 

The Hornets enter the evening as the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 17-49 record in 66 games. 

They have gone 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 110-98.  

Following the Suns, the Hornets will play their next game on Saturday evening when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers in Pennsylvania. 

As for the Suns, they are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 38-28 record in 66 games. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics by a score of 127-112.

Following the Hornets, the Suns will play their next game on Sunday afternoon when they visit Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin.
