76ers vs. Cavaliers Prediction for Today, 2/12

Taking on the Cavs these days always proves difficult, as they’re an incredible 17-3 over their last 20 games. Of course, the 76ers not having Joel Embiid, among others, certainly doesn’t help things either.

However, Philly was able to snap their four-game losing skid on Saturday night, so building some momentum heading into the All-Star break is not out of the question. Even still, we’re going to focus our 76ers vs. Cavaliers prediction on a low-scoring game instead. First and foremost, it’s been the calling card for Cleveland becoming such a force.

They’ve allowed the second-fewest points per game this season and are coming off back-to-back games allowing just 95 points. They haven’t allowed more than 110 points in six straight games! Philly hasn’t been quite that dominant, but Cleveland is still just a middle-of-the-pack scoring team.

Along with Embiid and other starters not available, there simply isn’t as much scoring on the court. Therefore, our best 76ers vs. Cavaliers prediction is under 229.5 points (-112) at FanDuel Sportsbook.

76ers vs. Cavaliers Player Props & Free Picks Featuring Tyrese Maxey & Evan Mobley

If you’d rather not root against points, we also have our best 76ers vs. Cavaliers player props for you. When these teams met earlier in the season, of course, it was Embiid who led the scoring with 32 points. However, Tyrese Maxey wasn’t far behind with 30 himself.

We’re expecting another strong night from Maxey but in a slightly different regard. The Cavs know that they can key on him with Embiid out, and other teams have demonstrated this as well. That’s why we’ve seen Maxey record seven assists in two of Philly’s last three games. More of the same should be in store tonight, making our first 76ers vs. Cavaliers player props pick on Tyrese Maxey over 5.5 assists (-120) at FanDuel Sportsbook.

We’re also targeting a player on Cleveland, who also should shine without Embiid on the court. The Cavs were missing a paint player of their own for quite some time, but Evan Mobley has returned for a little while now. He and Jarrett Allen seem to take turns controlling the glass, and this looks to be a Mobley night.

When he faced Philly earlier this season, he pulled down 12 boards, and that was with Embiid on the court. He’s also recorded double-digit rebounds in four of the Cavs’ five games this month. The most impressive of those was a 14-rebound performance against Damontis Sabonis and the Sacramento Kings, who recently had a triple-double against Denver’s Nikola Jokic.

With that in mind, we’re adding to our 76ers vs. Cavaliers player props with Evan Mobley over 8.5 rebounds (-122) at FanDuel Sportsbook.
