Seahawks vs. Titans Prediction for Christmas Eve Sunday, 12/24

While Seattle took down one of the Super Bowl favorites in Week 15, the Titans lost at home to a Houston Texans squad without their starting QB and potential Offensive Rookie of the Year CJ Stroud.

Tennessee is the only team in the AFC South without a winning record, and on top of all that, their rookie QB Will Levis suffered a high ankle sprain at the tail end of that loss. While he may be listed as questionable, the injury was brutal enough that the replay wasn’t shown on TV. In other words, even if he’s on the field, he certainly won’t be 100% healthy.

Of course, we know that Seattle has QB injury concerns of their own, but we’ve at least seen Drew Lock come in and perform up to par. We also have Geno Smith with no injury designation throughout the week, which is a promising sign. As for the defensive side of the ball, completing shutting down Titans RB Derrick Henry should not be expected.

However, if Seattle can just limit him to reasonable numbers while Tennessee’s passing game suffers due to QB issues, they can get back above .500 and right in the thick of the NFC playoff race. Therefore, our best Seahawks vs. Titans prediction is Seattle -3 (-114 at FanDuel Sportsbook).

Seahawks vs. Titans Player Props & Free Picks Featuring DK Metcalf & Derrick Henry

As promised, we’re also going to add to our best bets with some Seahawks vs. Titans player props. Our first target likely comes as no surprise, as Seattle WR DK Metcalf continues to prove that he’s truly a physical freak.

Of course, the last we saw of him was an absolutely incredible catch on the Seahawks game-winning drive on Monday night, but that was just par for the course for Metcalf. Regardless of who is under center, we’re confident that he can perform against this Titans defense.

It’s improved from being the worst passing defense in the league last year, but not enough to stop a guy like Metcalf, and it also doesn’t hurt that Tyler Lockett is on the other side to alleviate pressure. Even the Texans were down their top two WRs last week, and Tennessee still allowed Noah Brown to have 82 yards and a touchdown.

So, we’ll get our Seahawks vs. Titans player props started with DK Metcalf over 65.5 receiving yards (-114 at FanDuel Sportsbook). While we expect Seattle to focus on moving the ball through the air, the Titans will likely focus on the ground game. They would likely do so regardless with a back like Henry.

He’s certainly not having his best season, but ever since we saw Seattle allow nearly 300 rushing yards to the Baltimore Ravens, that unit simply hasn’t been the same. After being within the top 10 the first half of the season, they have plummeted to a bottom-10 team in terms of rushing yards allowed per game.

We stated that they’ll need to just keep Henry in check, and while that’s possible, we’re getting a very friendly number on his rushing prop after back-to-back down weeks. That means we can take advantage while also backing Seattle to win the game. Therefore, we’re adding Derrick Henry over 60.5 rushing yards (-114 at FanDuel Sportsbook) to our Seahawks vs. Titans player props.
