Steelers Make Headlines at NFL Combine

The Pittsburgh Steelers have big plans for this offseason.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are making noise at the NFL Combine, leaving no shortage of headlines as they scout players and discuss the acquisitions of possible veterans. 

So far, they've made it known they're speaking with Mason Rudolph about a return to Pittsburgh. They're searching for a center to replace Mason Cole. And they made already have a top candidate for their first-round pick. 

Is Rudolph returning? That's still up in the air. The team has also reportedly expressed interest in a trade with the Chicago Bears, and general manager Omar Khan said all options are on the table for another veteran to join the roster. 

When it comes to the center position, the Steelers have a name in mind. All Steelers has learned of a veteran free agent the team has a lot of interest in, and will make some calls to during the negotiation period to try and sign. 

And when it comes to the NFL Draft, they want two players. They currently have two cornerbacks near the top of the draft board, with one so high up on the list he's surpassed every other prospect.
