Recruiting Update: Where does Clemson stand on the offensive line?

Clemson missed out on two big-time offensive line prospects this week.

It's been a tough week for Clemson on the recruiting front. Following losing out on offensive tackle William Satterwhite, the Tigers missed on yet another offensive lineman when Fletcher Westphal stunned the recruiting world by picking Florida over Clemson, Arkansas, Auburn and Georgia.

As things currently stand, Clemson has just one current commitment on the offensive line: OT Ronan O'Connell (Franklin, TN). Just three of the fourteen offensive linemen Clemson has offered are still uncommitted.

Casey Poe, the nation's top interior offensive lineman, has yet to decide. The 4-star out of Lindale, Texas has Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech in his top seven. On3 has Alabama as the clear favorite to land Poe. He'll announce on Wednesday.

Jameson Riggs out of Hiram, Georgia is a 6-foot-5 tackle prospect. Currently ranked as a 3-star by most recruiting services, Riggs has the size and frame to develop into a strong ACC starter. Clemson is currently the favorite to land his services.

Clemson has a lot of depth currently on the line and could certainly use the Transfer Portal to address any needs following the season but there will be a big push from Tigers this fall to try and flip some targets.
