2025 four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford (Vero Beach, Fla.) visited the Tennessee Volunteers this past weekend and will commit to a school on Saturday.

Vero Beach High School linebacker Tarvos Alford is in the final days ahead of his college decision. The Florida native has suitors across the country and spent part of his weekend in Knoxville, Tennessee, to see the Vols. Tennessee came by his high school earlier in the year, and it was important for him to see new linebackers coach William Inge.

Head coach Josh Heupel and previous linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary stopped by his high school in January, a visit that made a lasting impression. Tennessee has been trending up in this recruitment for the past few months.

Following the short time with Tennessee in January, Alford was asked if it happened to help Tennessee's case and how much of a factor it would play in his recruitment moving forward. "It definitely moved their stock up. I feel like it's special when the main man comes to visit you," the talented linebacker stated. He was also asked how Tennessee makes him feel and where they currently stand in recruitment. The Florida defensive standout says, "Definitely a top school at this point in my recruitment. They do make me feel like a priority because they stay in contact with me, trying to get over there. Coach Heupel texts me almost every morning!" Alford ranks as the No. 63 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
