Final Domino Falls In Razorback Recruiting Saga

Last player on Razorback roster officially gone leaving all Hogs' scholarship spots open

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Nobody. The Arkansas basketball roster officially has no scholarship players left. Isaiah Elohim has requested a release from his National Letter of Intent to the Razorbacks according to Joe Tipton of On3.

The Kingston, N.Y. native and consensus four-star recruit signed with Arkansas over Kentucky and USC (before Eric Musselman was hired as coach) among others.

Elohim is the final scholarship player on the roster for the 2024-2025 Hogs. All 14 players have vacated the Razorbacks leaving them with no confirmed scholarship players for the upcoming season. Eight of the players entered the transfer portal, five were departing seniors, and Trevon Brazile opted to declare for the NBA draft.

All of this goes down as both sides look to finalize the hiring of John Calipari as Arkansas' 14th head coach after 15 seasons at Kentucky. The only player who remains on the roster is Lawson Blake, a walk-on who appeared in just four games last season. Calipari will have a blank slate when he takes over as coach for the Razorbacks.
