Following a disappointing double-overtime road loss to the BYU Cougars late Saturday night in Utah, coach Dave Aranda and the Baylor Bears football team dropped out of the top 10 to No. 17 in the latest Associated Press poll released on Sunday.

BYU, meanwhile, climbed nine spots to No. 12 in the nation.

After starting the season in the top 10 for the first time in program history, the Bears appeared poised to climb the ladder -- especially following a pair of top 10 upsets prior to the start of Baylor's game at BYU.

However, after falling to the Cougars in front of a rowdy crowd on the road, Baylor drops to 1-1 on the season and looks to rebound in a week three home game against Texas State.
