Dominic Parolin, Boise State’s backup center for the 2025-26 men’s basketball season, has agreed to a contract with the Vancouver Bandits of the Canadian Elite Basketball League.

The Vancouver Bandits announced the signing of the 6-foot-9 Parolin on Thursday.

“We are all excited about working with Dominic,” Vancouver Bandits head coach and general manager Kyle Julius said in a statement. “He has had a tremendous college career and has a very high ceiling as a professional player. Dominic plays with big-time toughness, has great size and a versatile game as a power forward. Being a B.C. kid, we are thrilled that he is back home playing for us in front of friends and family.”

A British Columbia native, Parolin spent his first four college seasons at Lehigh before transferring to Boise State. He missed the entire 2024-25 season due to a knee injury but appeared in all 32 games as a sixth-year senior, averaging 5.5 points and 4.7 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.

The Broncos finished 20-12 overall and missed the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year.

The Canadian Elite Basketball League is the top professional league in Canada, featuring 10 teams spread across six provinces. The CEBL began play in 2019.

Vancouver finished the 2025 regular season with the top record in the league at 19-5 to secure a second straight Western Conference championship. The Bandits fell in the quarterfinals of the playoffs.

Parolin and the Bandits are set to open the 2026 season on May 14 against Saskatoon.

Boise State’s roster will have a much different look in 2026-27 as the Broncos transition from the Mountain West to the Pac-12.

Parolin is one of six players—including all five starters—who will not be with the team next year.

Point guard Dylan Andrews averaged 12.5 points, 3.2 assists and 2.5 rebounds as a senior and is out of eligibility.

Shooting guard RJ Keene II (2.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists), wing Andrew Meadow (12.1 points, 3.6 rebounds), forward Javan Buchanan (12.6 points, five rebounds, 1.5 assists) and center Drew Fielder (14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists) all plan to enter the transfer portal. Buchanan, who has already played four college seasons, would need a waiver to earn another year of eligibility.

The 6-foot-11 Fielder, a 41 percent shooter from beyond the arc, will be the toughest of the bunch to replace. As of Friday morning, Fielder is rated the No. 33 overall transfer portal prospect by 247Sports.

The 6-foot-7 Meadow is 247Sports’ No. 87 overall transfer.
