The Boise State men’s basketball team will have an entirely new starting five for the 2026-27 season.

Senior-to-be wing Andrew Meadow, the final starter to reveal his offseason decision, will enter the transfer portal. The news was first reported by DraftExpress’ Jonathan Givony on Thursday morning.

The 6-foot-7 Meadow started all 32 games for Boise State last season and averaged 12.1 points and 3.6 rebounds. He shot 39 percent on three-pointers (44 of 114) and 51 percent (133 of 261) overall from the floor.

“Should draw significant interest across the high-major landscape,” Givony wrote.

Meadow was a highly-recruited prep prospect coming out of Southern California’s West Ranch High School. Rated the No. 38 overall player in California and the No. 53 power forward nationally by 247Sports, Meadow signed with the Broncos over reported offers from New Mexico, San Diego State, UNLV, Washington and Washington State, among others.

Meadow was a key reserve as a freshman and started 35 games in 2024-25, averaging 12.6 points and 4.2 rebounds. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

The men’s college basketball transfer portal window is set to open on Tuesday.

The Broncos will have to replace all five starters as the program prepares to leave the Mountain West for the Pac-12 this summer.

Shooting guard RJ Keene II, forward Javan Buchanan, center Drew Fielder and Meadow are all in the transfer portal. Point guard Dylan Andrews is out of eligibility, as is backup center Dominic Parolin.

The 6-foot-11 Fielder put up 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists and shot 41 percent from beyond the arc in his one season with the Broncos. Fielder is rated the No. 30 overall player and the No. 3 center transfer by 247Sports.

Buchanan, a 6-foot-7 scoring forward, averaged 12.6 points, five rebounds and 1.5 assists. Buchanan spent his first two seasons at NAIA Indiana Wesleyan and would need a rule change or lawsuit for another year of eligibility.

The 6-foot-7 Keene II made 24 starts last year and averaged 2.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists.

The 6-foot-3 Andrews had a solid season after transferring over from UCLA, tallying 12.5 points, 3.2 assists and 2.5 rebounds.

Of the Broncos’ top six scorers from last season, only junior-to-be guard Pearson Carmichael remains on the roster. The 6-foot-7 Carmichael logged 18 starts over his first two years while averaging 7.5 points and 2.9 rebounds on 31 percent shooting (61 of 197) from beyond the arc.

Spencer Ahrens, a 6-foot-10 stretch forward, averaged 4.9 points and 2.3 rebounds as a true freshman and would slide into a starting role if he returns to Boise State.

The Broncos will likely need to find a starting point guard, wing and center in the transfer portal.
