Major League Baseball may have just ended their season with the World Series, but it's never too early to talk baseball.  Boston College baseball released their 2020 schedule last night and once again it doesn't feature a familiar opponent.  The Boston Red Sox.

The Eagles hosted Southern New Hampshire and Qunnipiac in fall scrimmages at the Harrington Athletics Village in October.  But now we know that they will start the season in Florida against Northern Illinois on Valentine's Day.

Notable Games & Series

Boston College will have a three game road series at Arizona State in late February.  Yes, the same Sun Devils team that scheduled the MLB World Select Team and Team USA for fall scrimmages and made it to the NCAA tournament last year.  That'll surely be an early measuring stick for the Eagles to determine if they're a contender or pretender.

Being a Northern team, it's not all that odd to see that they'll start the first month plus on the road as their first home game won't be until the day after St. Patrick's Day against Sienna.  Though, that does start the first of 14 straight home games for the Eagles and 20 of 24 at the Harrington Athletics Village.

Boston College will open up ACC play in Clemson on March 6th against the Tigers and will host its first ACC opponent on March 20th when Virginia Tech comes to town.  And just a couple weeks after that, they'll take on Northeastern in the first round of the baseball Beanpot at home.

The Eagles will end the season at home with a three game series against Wake Forest before the ACC tournament.  All BC home games are free to the public and as of right now, the TV schedule hasn't been announced.
