Boston College football has been always known for their restrictive tailgating policy. That all got much better today, as the school announced that they will be increasing tailgating hours for all Saturday games by one hour, to four hours before gametime. This also includes an hour post game tailgate for all games that start before 3pm.

"We are always looking to improve and enhance our gameday environment for our loyal fans," said Jarmond. "We heard how important it was from our fans, and specifically from our fan council, on the ability to extend tailgating hours prior to the game. We feel it will be very beneficial to our fans in terms of easing traffic flow into the stadium and getting to their seats for kickoff."

The school also announced a clear bag policy that is consistent with all other ACC programs: Fans will be permitted to bring in a one-gallon sized clear plastic zip bag, a clear plastic bag that does not exceed 12"x12"x6" or a small clutch bag, wristlet or handheld wallet.

You have to be happy about the increase in tailgating hours, that should be great news for all the fans who buy tailgates and feel like they are crunched for time. Any way to improve fan experience is a plus!
