The 6'4 195 pound Langford is a four star recruit, ranked #83 and plays for Brewster. He chose Boston College over claimed offers from Texas A&M, NC State, UConn amongst many others. NC State and BC were his final two.
He is the first Top 100 recruit out of New England to pick BC since Bill Curley, and the second Top 100 BC has landed in the past two years the other being Jarius Hamilton. As mentioned before his brother Makai-Ashton Langford transferred to Boston College this summer from Providence which may have played a role in his decision. He is the second commitment for the class of 2020 joining Brewster teammate center Justin Vander Baan who pledged to the Eagles back in the summer.
Congratulations to Scott Spinelli, Jim Christian and his staff. This is a huge get for the Eagles.
