Luke Floriea is a 3* out of Mentor, Ohio, committed to the Eagles back in May. A smaller wide out at 5’11, Floriea held offers from UMass, and a host of MAC schools.

As a smaller receiver he would have been more of a slot receiver for the Eagles. Not sure what caused his decommittment, he hasn't announced a new offer, usually an impetus for this. The other factor that sometimes comes is staff stability. When a commit sees a team struggling and losing, even if it is only a few games, that can change his mind.
Floriea is not the only wide receiver in the Boston College 2020 class, they still have Taji Johnson, a bigger wide out from Georgia. We shall see how the staff chooses to use this extra scholarship slot.
