Boston College Football Recruiting: Eagles Land Commitment From '21 DE TJ Guy

Boston College football landed a new 2021 commitment on Saturday, as local defensive end T.J. Guy from Mansfield, Massachusetts pledged to the Eagles. Via his Twitter account:
Guy a 6'4 240 pound defensive end is considered a three star recruit by 247 Sports, and currently held offers from Bryant, Boston College and Syracuse. It's hard to gauge his style based off his highlight film which are kind of grainy, but of which I posted below. He appears to have a solid frame and good knack for the ball along with good closing speed and good tackling.
TJ Guy is another important local commit for the Eagles and this class. He joins Catholic Memorial linebacker Owen McGowan as Bay State members of the Class of 2021. This is a massive year for local recruiting, with multiple high level recruits in the local area and Boston College needs to close on a good handful of these recruits. It's a promising sign that the Eagles have already landed two of these recruits.
Clearly defensive end is a position of need for the Eagles as we have seen Boston College really struggled up front this year. By the time Guy hits campus in 2021 Boston College will have the following players at defensive end (of course this will change with position changes, transfers etc):
Shittah Sillah (Junior)
Izaiah Henderson (Sophomore)
Joey Luchetti (Senior)
Spencer Bono (Sophomore)
Marcus Valdez (Senior)
Jackson Ness (Sophomore)
TJ Guy is the fourth commit in the Class of 2021 joining the aforementioned Owen McGowan, quarterback Jalen Kitna, and Maryland cornerback Jalen McCain.
