Former Cal golfers Byeong Hun An and Michael Kim both added to the best seasons of their professional careers on Sunday.

The veteran South Koreans scored top-10 finishes at the Wyndham Championships at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, NC.

An, 31, tied for second place with Russell Henley at 18 under par, two strokes back of winner Lucas Glover. It was An’s fourth top-10 finish this season and his highest finish in a PGA event since tying for second at the 2018 Canadian Open.

By pocketing $676,400, he boosted his season earnings to a career-best $3.055 million, a year after he completed the season with just under $75,000 in total prize money.

Kim, 30, finished in a tie for fifth place with Webb Simpson at minus-13, seven strokes off the pace. This also was Kim’s fourth top-10 finish of the year and his payday of $293,550 pushed his career-best earnings total for this season to just under $2 million.

An, who turned pro in 2011 after one season at Cal, never had a chance to overtake Glover, who took charge with a third-round 62 and closed with a 68. Glover took home a winner's check of $1,368,000.

Glover's win in which he overcame a two-hour rain delay - lifted him into the season-ending FedEx Cup playoffs. It was his fifth tour victory over a span of 18 seasons for the 43-year-old.

An assembled rounds of 63-67-65-67 on the way to his runner-up finish. He had eight birdies and one bogey on the way to his opening-round 63 and during Friday’s second round countered a double-bogey with a pair of eagles.

Kim’s four-day scorecard read 72-65-62-68, his third-round performance sparked by nine birdies.

Cal's two high-profile golfers - No. 7 Max Homa and 23rd-ranked Collin Morikawa - did not play this week.
