Sammy Brown named Defensive Player of the Year by the All-American Bowl
It's been a busy week for Clemson signees out in San Antonio. With the 2024 All-American Bowl occurring later this afternoon, Tiger fans will get to watch some of their future stars hit the field.
Wide receiver TJ Moore (Tampa Catholic - Tampa, FL) has been tearing it up this week, winning a ton of 1-on-1s against some of the top talents in the 2024 and 2025 classes. Alongside fellow signee and five-star wideout Bryant Wesco (Midlothian - Midlothian, TX), Moore could be in for a big freshman season.

Tight end signee Christian Bentancur (Marian Central Catholic - Woodstock, IL) and defensive lineman signee Hevin Brown-Shuler (Pace Academy - Atlanta, GA) will also represent the Tigers in the Game.
On Friday, the All-American Bowl announced its Defensive Player of the Year and another Tiger signee earned an award. Five-star linebacker Sammy Brown (Jefferson - Jefferson, GA), the crown jewel of Clemson's 2024 class was named the top defensive player in the country, beating out players like KJ Bolden (Georgia) and LJ McCray (Florida).
Brown is also in the running for the All-American Bowl Player of the Year, an award that Cade Klubnik and Trevor Lawrence won before coming to Clemson.
