In October, a month after taking an unofficial Duke basketball visit, Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Calif.) guard Brayden Burries told 247Sports' Travis Branham that he probably won't reclassify from 2025 to 2024.

However, he added that the decision whether to graduate early or stay put is ultimately up to his father. Moreover, keep in mind that recruits who do end up reclassifying often downplay the possibility until they officially announce otherwise.

So, it's worth noting that this week, 247Sports' Adam Finkelstein included Burries, No. 15 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite and a Duke basketball offer holder since June, on his tally of the current high school juniors most likely to reclass:

"There's a long list currently in the class of 2025. Joson Sanon has spoken openly about the possibility. Bryson Tiller, Jasper Johnson, Brayden Burries, Moustapha Thiam, Efeosa Oliogu, and Erhunmwunse Oswin are among those that are most speculated about. If last year is any indication though, there will be surprises both ways. Some of the players being speculated about will end up staying, and others that we aren't yet talking about will end up going."

Brayden Burries, whose 6-foot-5, 200-pound frame and sure-footed perimeter game bring to mind current Blue Devil freshman guard and fellow California product Jared McCain, is one of eight five-star 2025 prospects on Duke head coach Jon Scheyer's wishlist.

He recently listed Duke among his 10 most active suitors, along with Alabama, Arizona, Kansas, LSU, Houston, San Diego State, Southern Cal, Texas, and UCLA.

Meanwhile, the 2024 offer sheet in Durham consists of only one undecided talent in NBA Academy Africa five-star center Khaman Maluach. With five top-shelf early signees already in tow, featuring the cycle's top prep in Montverde Academy (Fla.) five-star forward Cooper Flagg, Duke's haul ranks No. 1 in the country, per 247Sports.
