Towson finished last season 5-6 (4-4 CAA) in the first season under head coach Pete Shinnick. The Tigers are searching for the first appearance in the FCS Playoffs since 2018. The Tigers have not won the CAA since winning back-to-back conference titles in 2011-12.

Towson's 2024 schedule features an FBS matchup against Cincinnati, three FCS out-of-conference games, and eight CAA conference matchups.
