Fresno State DB Chrishawn Gordon Transfers To Montana

Former Fresno State defensive back Chrishawn Gordon announced his transfer to Montana. He will have one season of eligibility remaining for the Grizzlies. 

Gordon saw action in 28 games over three seasons at Fresno State. He recorded 37 total tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, and two pass breakups. He spent one season at Butte College, but the season was canceled due to COVID-19. 

Gordon started his career at Dixie State (Now Utah Tech), appearing in four games as a true freshman. He signed with Dixie State out of Valley Center, California. He earned first-team All-League honors and was a second-team All-State selection as a senior. 

Davidson DE Jonathan Hammond Transfers To William & Mary

Former Davidson defensive lineman Jonathan Hammond announced his commitment to William & Mary. He will have one season of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Tribe.

Hammond played in 41 career games over four seasons with the Wildcats. He was named the PFL Freshman of the Year in 2020-21 after leading the conference in tackles for loss. He also earned Sophomore All-American honors and was an All-Conference selection in three consecutive seasons.

Over his four seasons, Hammond recorded 183 total tackles, 37 tackles for loss, 22 sacks, two interceptions, 11 pass breakups, and four forced fumbles. He signed with Davidson out of Mt. Vernon Presbyterian, where he was named the 5A Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. 

Former Kansas WR Tanaka Scott Signs With North Alabama

Former Kansas wide receiver Tanaka Scott officially signs with North Alabama. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining for the Lions.

Scott saw action in 23 games over three seasons at Kansas. He recorded 11 receptions for 140 receiving yards with the Jayhawks. He signed with the Jayhawks out of Murphy High School in Mobile, Alabama in the class of 2021.

Scott was the No. 214 wide receiver and No. 73 player in Alabama, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He recorded 265 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns in only nine games as a senior. He committed to Kansas over offers from Troy, UAB, South Alabama, Georgia State, and Coastal Carolina.
